For Matt, “Quality” means pursuing 360° excellence in all aspects of formulation, product safety and satisfaction of our Consumers.

For this reason, standard operating procedures have been established and rigorous control systems involving every production phase and product distribution.

All Matt productions are carried out exclusively at approved suppliers, which offer a high standard of quality and safety and meet all the requirements for reliability and guarantee in supplies. All suppliers are constantly checked and evaluated with periodic in-depth visits to the various production units aimed at comparing the production processes with the established guidelines and constantly seeking innovative solutions to improve the products from a nutritional and ingredient perspective. All batches of our products, before being placed on the market, are subjected to rigorous controls to verify compliance with the quality and safety specifications defined in our purchasing specifications.

Numerous periodic analyses are also carried out at external laboratories certified and internationally recognized, to verify the quality and safety of finished products.

Matt Guarantee

Matt is personally responsible for the quality of his products under the Matt Supplements, Matt Pharma Division, Matt Foods, and Matt Cosmetics brands, and of the companies that produce them, controlling the supply chain.

Logo designed to be used by companies whose production methods and products have been subjected to control by an authorised third party body and found to be compliant with EU standards for organic farming. Control body authorized by the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies for the certification of quality and authenticity of organic products throughout the supply chain. It is Israel's primary body that guarantees products that comply with the strict rules dictated by the Jewish religion.

Biological

For Matt, “organic” means respect the entire agricultural ecosystem and the natural fertility of the land,without using synthetic products or genetically modified organisms, ensuring responsible use of energy and resources.

Companies in the agri-food sector that intend to be part of the organic supply chain must undergo certification according to the EC Regulation 834/2007.

The organic supply chain includes both the primary production of a product and the processing activity.

As regards the primary activity, the Regulation defines a production method that takes into account all those forms of cultivation and breeding that tend to enhance and conserve organic production systems, without resorting to synthetic chemical products, performing a function of environmental protection and conservation of rural space. The regulation encourages the best possible use of renewable energy and the enhancement of territorial, environmental and natural resources.

The essential technical principles of organic farming are:

  • the importance given to the physical and microbiological aspects of the soil and their improvement
  • organic fertilization, possibly supplemented by mineral inputs, preferably of natural origin
  • phytosanitary protection based on prevention, possibly supplemented by treatments carried out with products authorised by specific production standards and according to certification schemes
  • weed control through cultivation practices and mechanical interventions
  • the ban on the use of products and ingredients obtained or derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
  • the limited use of veterinary medicines
  • systems and forms of breeding that respect a life in accordance with the specific needs of individual animal species.

For Matt, “Green Planet” means privileging the use of natural substances, with the utmost respect for the Herbal Tradition, the environment, nature and the planet.

Each Green Planet product respects the following characteristics:
